Zia U Ahmadziacantonment@yahoo.comSometimes  psychological  councelling  helps.  You  can  go  to  professionals  like  Mahtab  Khanan  (Clinical  Psychology's  professor  in  DU)  and  others.  Or  you  can  read  some  Books  on  psychology.  Once,  I  was  very  afraid  to  go  to  my  boss  with  official  problems.  I  thought  if  i  go  to  him,  he  will  think  that  I  am  incapable...  and  wasting  his  time.  After  reading  motivational  books  I  realized  I  donot  need  to  be  so  afraid.  Because  if  I  donot  go  to  him  ,  I  will  make  wrong  decisions...  and  THAT  IS  INCAPABILITY.  Now,  I  go  to  him  anytime  with  any  problem.  Though  he  was  first  quite  annoyed  with  me,  but  now  it  is  got  very  natural.  We  have  a  good  friendly  teacher-student  relationship  now.      
Zia U Ahmadziacantonment@yahoo.comThere  are  some  professional  motivater  in  BD.  In  British  Council  (Dhaka)  there  is  Toufiq  Hasan.  He  is  a  certified  TMS  profiler.  TMS  (Team  Management  System)  is  a  system  developed  by  an  Australian  company  (name  is  also  'TMS')  who  helps  to  analyze  your  personalitie's  SWAT.  Then  Mr.  profiler  gives  the  subject  some  month-long  interactive  excercise  and  monitors  the  change.  Also  there  is  a  firm  in  BD  (Chittagong)  called  LID  (Learn,  Implement  &  Devlope).  It  arranges  a  4-day  course.  It  is  also  very  effective.  But  after  the  4th  day  they  won't  monitor  you.  They  will  just  show  you  the  way;  &  you  have  to  walt  it  on  your    own.  It  is  highly  reported  that  to  change  nagetive  attitude,  Quantum  Method  is  useful.

The  Chartered  Institute  of  Personnel  and  Development  (CIPD)  has  developed  a  certificate  in  the  Psychology  of  Management.

This  will  enable  those  involved  in  the  management  of  people  to  understand  employee  behaviour  and  help  them  suggest  alternative  and  practical  ways  of  achieving  change.

Research  indicates  that  organisations  undergo  major  change  about  once  every  three  years,  and  smaller  changes  occur  almost  continually.  Yet  more  than  40%  of  reorganisations  fail  to  meet  their  objectives.  

Vanessa  Robinson,  CIPD  organisation  and  resourcing  adviser,  said:  “Exploring  change  and  other  management  challenges  by  drawing  on  psychological  research  will  help  managers  to  understand  individuals'  behaviour  better.  

"This  will  help  in  communicating  the  change  and  help  gain  employee  trust  and  commitment,  both  during  and  after  implementation.”

The  programme  looks  at  all  aspects  of  management  and  calls  upon  the  expertise  of  leading  occupational  psychologists  with  experience  in  training  and  developing  managers.  

The  CIPD  will  hold  an  open  evening  for  prospective  students  of  the  Certificate  in  the  Psychology  of  Management  on  7  September.

Patinfo@elter.grHonesty,  I  think  the  fact  that  Lego  refuses  to  make  and  sell  ceiratn  themes  just  because  of  violence  is  a  big  mistake  in  terms  of  business.  They  are  missing  out  on  huge  potential  profits.  Not  to  mention,  the  fact  that  Mega  Bloks  sells  these  clearly  shows  that  the  Lego  company  can  as  well.  The  only  thing  stopping  them  seems  to  be  their  policy  against  any  sort  of  violence.
